The Philosophy of Care
BHHC values honesty, integrity, and compassion. Accordingly, “Beverly’s Care Philosophy” is guided by the key principles of Trust, Personalized Care, and Independence:
- Trust: Ensuring your family member’s privacy, safety and security is essential. We earn client and family member trust by providing exemplary service and consistent client service: We never compromise on care. We provide ongoing monitoring and professional supervision of our fully-vetted and trustworthy staff to ensure that everything is going well in the home and that the care plan is executed as designed.
- Personalized Care: Each client is different, as are their needs. Based on a comprehensive assessment, and in consultation with your physician, BHHC designs a care plan that addresses each client’s physical and behavioral health needs. Following the assessment, options are presented to the client and their family that will best address their needs.
- Independence (Self-Sufficiency): We understand an individual’s desire to stay at home. The care plans implemented by our staff enable many clients to avoid institutional care. The goal of care is to assist each client to maximize their independence, which we foster by emphasizing education, safety, dignity, and quality of life in clients’ own home.
