- Possess first-aid and CPR certifications (professional)
- Oral and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to recognize behavior patterns
- Ability to remain calm under stressful conditions
- Must possess a license to practice as a professional nurse or certificate for paraprofessionals in New York State
- Must successfully pass a background check investigation
